I'm glad everyone is okay, but man--that really sucks.
I think next time your gonna to have to paint your truck a more noticeable color. I'd try something like bright orange. Oh wait...

Must be devastating, glad you are okay.

I am with Hagerty, will be interested to hear how you make out with them.

For all of us out there, make sure that as you upgrade your truck and it becomes more valuable, make sure you update your appraisals and upgrade your insurance as you go.

That is a tough one, Glad you are alright. You'll just have to start the party over again, don't invite the loader operator next time , don't give up now!!

What a waste of a beautiful truck. Try to take some comfort that the outcome wasn't even worse.

Re: It was fun while it lasted, but the party is over!!

I wd have punched him right in the face... After I cried a little. I hate to hear ab it but shdnt his insurance pay... Also, take any pix and a list of aftermarket items u purchased to an appraiser to have them put a number on the trucks value. Then u have a hard number to negotiate with the insurance.

Re: It was fun while it lasted, but the party is over!!

I would first like to echo the thankfullness of the group that you are ok. Next I know that you don't want to hear it but it is totally fixable. I rebuild wrecks for a living and have for 25 years. I have had a C60 grain truck given to me and in the 60-66 time frame the cabs are the same from C10 up to c70 I think . What I am sayiong that a lot of these trucks spend their life in a tractor shed protected from the elements and have really good potential. Back to the bobtruck I have it has clean rockers acab corners the whole nine . You could find one like it [I may have a phone number to a guy that has like 10 to maybe 15 of them] and with a cab as clean as mine it could go right in the body shop for paint prep. That may just be something to think about in putting yours back together because you know what is there and probably allready thought about what you would do different if you had the chance and you know what is there. Good luck and happy sanding

Re: It was fun while it lasted, but the party is over!!

Very true markeb...fine words of wisdom from you as always, and I really have tried to be positive since the accident. But I do have to admit that when I got out of truck after the wreck, I threw a crazy mans fit right there in the road for a minute as you might be able to imagine, and THEN I started to be positive.
