My new truck
Bought this truck about a month ago, been getting it reliable and taking crap off, its been repainted once a long time ago, has the original 283 (someone painted blue) 3 on the tree, its pretty straight, has a bit of rust. but it runs great and has a good patina look. Plans are throw my 383 4 speed muncie combo in it, put a 5/7 drop on it, mild interior redo, and replace all th the weather stripping.

Re: My new truck
Looks like you polished a test section on the hood.
That's a good color. Nice truck. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: My new truck
I love it, the blue is likely original, I am pretty sure that chevy painted their truck V8's a blue/gray colour.
Did I mention that I really, really like it?

Re: My new truck
i like the 283 its a great runner pops right off every time been driving it daily for 2 weeks. im definetly putting it in the garage if i ever want to go back original. my 383 looks completely original tho, besides the caddy a/c.
