Can it be done?
Hi guys,
I've been busy, but let me tell you about my new car. I just got a nice Crown Vic Police Interceptor with the police package, heavy duty shocks, dual exhaust, 130amp alternator, oil cooler, etc. Anyways, it's in great mechanical shape and gets about 25mpg on the highway. But it's ugly as sin, and everyone slows down in front of me. I don't like the cop look, but love the car's performance and reliability. I look up the wheelbase... and then the C10 shortbox wheelbase. It's 8mm different. 8mm! I've got a C10 shortbox sans an engine, and the police interceptor. Can you see where I'm going here? I want to graft the C10 body on the ford frame. Here is a pic of a CV frame, for reference: Think I can do it?

Re: Can it be done?
Both those builds are awesome. I start tearing down the Vic next week. I'll take lots of pictures.
