Utilizing the center dash speaker location in an 87 R10??

I am thinking of using the center opening in my dash to hold 2 4" speakers that i have left over. I did a quick search and found some similar ideas. Does anybody know if there is an adapter only that you can buy that will work for 2 4" speakers in this location? Thanks!

I used some plumbers strap and made it work in my '87. Put the tweeters in the outboard spots the same way.

Didnt even think of that. I currently have 2 6x9's going in the corners and 3.5" in the dash corners. I have the 4" pair laying around from an old vehicle so i figured that i might as well put them in.

I did just that since my 76 only has the center location. My truck still had a 4x10 there so I took it out and traced it onto sheetmetal, cut it out, and then cut two 4" holes in it. I'm not aware of a premade bracket but it really wasn't hard to make at all. You could probably even make it out of mdf and mount it from underneath.

Got mine from LMC. Two 4" speakers on one bracket mounted in the center and am utilizing it as a center channel for my 5.1 channel surround sound kenwood system.
