Look what I found

I have spoken to the owner of this burb and am sending a deposit for him to hold it for me.This is going to be my new DD.It does need some work, the rockers need to be replaced and a portion of the drivers floor board. The owner is sending pics of the rust Monday when he gets back from family reunion.

The good points are the nice looking original orange paint that is just like the 70 CST truck that was my first truck I bought from my Dad.I can redo the white paint below the trim line after I replace the rockers.FACTORY BUCKETS!!!I almost fell outta my chair when I clicked on the add and saw buckets. The owners is sending more pics with the SPID so I can see if the buckets are original or swapped. This burb is complete and appears to be unmolested.I hope its as good as it looks.Wish me luck y'all

Looks like a nice driver/project. You won't believe how nice it will clean up. I used Turtle wax White Polishing Compound and a product called "Carnu-B" Wax on the '70 and it turned out great. Plain old soap and water with a soft bristle brush works good on the upholstery. Post up more pictures when you give it a bath and/or detail job.

Re: Look what I found

I spoke with the owner gary about getting the burb. At first it was listed as a 70, then I by the time I had him look around the truck and answer some questions he has realized its a 72 and listed it again. With no "title" and the amount of rust on the drivers side, that really made my decision not to purchase it. From the trim down the vehicle is pretty rusty. I had him read me the "spid" label in the glovebox and it is not a factory bucket seat truck. They must of been added at some point. Great project for sure tho. Hope it gets saved. I'm still on the hunt for a 72 myself but need something a little cleaner.
