C20 to C10 spindle swap

Been told that I can swap my 3/4T spindles out and install 1/2T spindles using the 3/4T ball joints. True?? I am NOT interested in swapping out my crossmember for disc brakes or power steering. Just down grading to 1/2T truck status.

So you are staying with drum brakes on the front?

Re: C20 to C10 spindle swap

yes, I am for now. I have all new parts and fresh drums to use up for the
1/2T brakes. As well as 1/2T drop springs for all four corners and a 6 lug RE, Never wanted a C20 so I am making mine a C10 at least that is the plan.
