Re: Anyone own a Lincoln handy mig?
1st how do you like the heat settings? the other welder i'm looking at has a 4 position knob instead of the 2 switches. Also, can you use 0.23 wire? Online i kept seeing it say size 0.25, my local big box (crap) store only sells 0.23 0.30 and 0.35. Thanks.

Re: Anyone own a Lincoln handy mig?
I personally dont like any welder with heat setting by rockers switches. Its too limiting. An infinite adjustment knob is always better. That way your not stuck with pre set voltages. A knob with infinite adjustment is especially useful on sheet metal where thickness can vary a lot. A welder isnt the place to price shop. You will almost always get what you pay for. Wire size depends on what your welding. Generally thinner wire for thinner material.

Re: Anyone own a Lincoln handy mig?
I've had mine since the year 2000 and although you will be limited to the thickness of metal you can weld 3/16 max it works great for body work. I have always run .35 wire in mine so, I'm of no help to you there. Cheers, Pat
