My horn was never connected in my truck and today I tried to fix it. I have a Grant steering wheel. I changed the relay and it still does not work. How common is it for the horn not to work? I might just go to the junkyard and pick one up later this week.

IIRC grant makes a horn button and kit that goes with the wheel that you have to use

Have you checked to make sure it's getting a good ground? There's only the one wire that goes to the horn under the hood I believe.

Then yes, the horn kit for the Grants is about $20. But, you should be able to check and see if it work or not by touching the wire at the button to the nut or somewhere on the steering wheel.

Your horns may be good. Just take the horns off the truck. Then hook a ground wire from the battery to the horn body. Then run a wire from the hot terminal on the battery to the terminal on the horn, and see of it works.
