sway bars

yet another ?? what if any sway bars can be used on my 64 C30 ? are there any that i can use from another vehicle or a place i can go look for some

Anything GM one ton chevy / GMC truck. I believe they were 1.25 thickness on the bar.

Grab all the mounting hardware as well if the rubber is bad replace it with poly from summit, you might want to think about adding one to the rear as well.

Do you have a beam axle or independent control arms such as the standard pickup...?

For the rear sway bar you should be able to use one from a C30 up thru '87, and crew cab C30's up thru '91. Of course this is assuming your C30 has leaf springs in the rear as most do. However you will likely have to do a little fabricating to get the rear one all mounted and connected to the frame.
