Insterment Panal Swap? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Help...Need Help...
I recently swaped out my basic insterment panal in my '70 with a full gages panal from a '72. So far I am only able to get the turn signals and Volt meter to work. When I pull the wire plug and check for ground and juice, it seems that they are ALL or Most of them are grounded. Can anyone tell me if they have done a similar swap and if so, what did you do to make it all work?

The wiring harness for a full gauge set and basic set is different...You can do a post search for the topic and get you anwser....

You probably fried your fuel guage. I did this once before I found out the internet was a good place for auto info.
Back in the 'dark ages' I guess.
