I don't know about that bed, sounds a bit steep...but maybe I'm wrong. If the wood is brand new that might be a different story.

there is no hole for the spare he said... piecing a new bed together would be more than a thousand without bolts and a floor... maybe more stuff would be needed than that....

I started as a step and went to fleet. the fleet bed just looks better to me, it is cleaner looking.

if its a short bed gotta be a stepside if you got a longbed its gotta be a fleetside its all very simple actually and Bill i love your truck!! needs some work but its gorgeous start Its what im going to be getting one of these days when i get money lol

gonna convert over to 5 lug discs up front and 5 lug drums out back... off my 72

it was originally an a/c truck... but were probably going to use the cab off of the 70 longbed.
