Hotchkis Front Sway Bar

I'm selling my Hotchkis front sway bar as it did not work with my Porterbuilt Tubular Control Arms. This bar is brand new as I only had it mocked up on my frame. It is a very big and beefy sway bar. Measures 1 7/16".

Link from summit racing: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HSS-22108F/

$275.00 shipped gets it.

Re: Hotchkis Front Sway Bar

Any mods need to be done to the lower control arms or stock steering. If not i would be interested in it..

Nope, and it would be mine if I hadn't already bought one. !

I put one of these on a 69 Camaro, and I'm tellin ya, It makes a difference. It REALLY plants the front end.

Re: Hotchkis Front Sway Bar

I don't think it would work on my 68 with the 84 LCA would it Keith ? I'll be needing one for that truck too. I bought Hellwig front / rear for the GMC.

Thanks CC69Rat, Looks like its just a bolt-on. The PO of my 72 used the stock sway bar to get towed or pulled and bent the bar and all of the mounts.

Re: Hotchkis Front Sway Bar

Keith is a good dude man.. If you're at all interested in it, so ahead and get it. Hotchkis makes some of the best stuff in the business.

This bar prob weighs 50lbs. .. even hollow, it's still big and bulky to ship. At $275 shipped for a new one this is a steal.

Re: Hotchkis Front Sway Bar

Where the end links mount to the porterbuilt control arms is not wide enough. The Hotchkis bar worked perfect on the stock control arms but due to the sway bar mount being positioned closer towards the spindle on my porterbuilt arms it didn't work. If you look at the porterbuilt sway bay you will notice that each end turns out towards the spindle as where the Hotchkis bar goes straight into the control arm.
