Smile You did not lose me to the darkside....69' SWB

Although, I been hanging out a lot in the darkside (60-66' forum) lately with some really cool 60-66' truck people with my almost latest truck a 66' SWB BBW, which is so far is a keeper, no really it is (trust me)......anyway I'm back! And here we have my latest latest to feed my addiction, a mostly stock "farm truck special" 69' short fleet, not the cherry-est or loaded with options truck, but one that runs good with a 350/350 combo with lots of potential, and boy we all know these shorties are getting harder to find. Enjoy!

Wonder what's under the primer, be nice if it was original paint. Can't wait to see what you do with this one.

I'm feeling some dog dish caps for this one, and no this one not Del material (haha) I think they were hauling farm animals.

I have to find the right truck first. Yeah right, I think I've had the right truck a few times.

Very cool except for the disgusting 49er sticker on the glove box.

My favorite teams are the Raiders and whoever's playing the 49ers!!!

What's getting hard to find is a shorty you haven't already owned.

That thing is so fast it blew the trim off and bowed the tailgate out. Must have the corvette options.

Now let's change a few things, out with the old in with the new...er better? well maybe? What do you guys think, 69-70 bucket seats with a 67-68 console? I know the patterns don't match I'm just wondering about the idea?

Love the truck! Not keen on the bucket setup...the buddy seat is just too squared to fit the look of the buckets...

Glad you kept it a 69 grille (even though the inners a 70) instead of swapping to the 71-2.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about it either, I just thought I'd throw it out there, I have the right console somewhere, I think.

The 70' grill is staying on, now if the truck was a keeper it would be getting the 71-72' treatment.

I like those black buckets!
Just add a console and it will be perfect.
