Re: wtb rear sport bumper mounting brackets.

If you have a long bed you will probably be able to use the inner brackets from a coil spring truck. The outer brackets will work.

Re: wtb rear sport bumper mounting brackets.

Classic Parts lists these and 2wd brackets.
As far as I know there are only 2 different sets of rear sport bumper brackets.

I'm guessing since all 4x4 trucks are leaf spring.
I was hoping someone else would chime in.

Re: wtb rear sport bumper mounting brackets.

If you have a 4X4 or a SWB it takes one size of rear bumper brackets.

If you have a stepside, SWB with coil, LWB with coil, LWB with leaf, or a longhorn, it takes the other size.

The mystery is solved then we can use 4x4 brackets and we should be good.

Thanks

Sub outer brackets are the same as for the trucks.

Re: wtb rear sport bumper mounting brackets.

Outer brackets are the same regardless. On the 72 Blazers and Burbs, the frame was used for the inner brackets.

Jim
Did all 67-72 burbs use the frame for the inner bracket?
I know my old '69 burb did.

Re: wtb rear sport bumper mounting brackets.

Terry,
What did you use that worked? I have a 1970 c 20 longbed with leafs and want to install a sport chrome bumper... was it a bolt on or did you do any mods? Did you install the filler panels as well? Any part numbers on the brackets?
