75 siverado needs new power

i have an 88 gmc with less than 50, 000 on it. would it be wise to put it in my old one? are the intakes changeable, is there a place to put a fuel pump behind the plate that is in it's place?

If you're going carb on it you'll have to get an adapter plate or a special intake that bolts to what you have and accepts a carb. And no, to the question of will it have provisions for a fuel pump.

Re: 75 siverado needs new power

do you think that if i was to follow the wires from the TB and take out whats attached to them and get it to work easier, or to you think i would need the whole wire harness? if so, it is starting to look very 6.2 like. so much for pulling a camper lol. never owned anything over 87. my have to stay that way

You can pull a camper with a 6.2. As long you don't have too high gears it'll be just fine albeit a little slower than a small block.
