5.3 cruise control wiring

I have been installing the wiring for my 5.3 in my 72 pickup close to being finished. I have a later model turn signal/cruise control with a yellow, red, green, and black wire. The harness has a blue, light blue, gray, and gray/black wires. The classic instruments has a speedometer signal interface box that has a connection for a cruise control. Does anyone have any idea how to wire this.

Thank you

Ken

Re: 5.3 cruise control wiring

What kind of cruise? Factory or aftermarket? DBW or DBC? Look here.... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=511477

If you have other questions just ask.

Re: 5.3 cruise control wiring

The cruise is a latter factory one it is not supposed to need the relays to work. I need to know how to hook up the wires.

Can you post a pic of what you have? Factory cruise switches usually have blue, gray, gray/black and pink wires at the plug in. Are you talking about the really small wires that actually go through the column? They are blue, red, yellow and green, but they're small and are hard to tie into the main harness without the pigtail,
