Re: Is this clip factory for our truck parking brakes? (pic included)

I just went out to my garage to see if I had one on my '72 swb, which is down to the frame, and I have one on the passenger side and not the drivers. On mine you can tell that there had been one on the drivers side at one time. Looks like I have one more part to find...

Long beds usually have two, but all my short beds have never had them.

I think Inline has all that hardware, even if the website doesn't show it. They supplied me with a lot of hardware I didn't see they had.

Re: Is this clip factory for our truck parking brakes? (pic included)

I removed the entire e-brake setup from my '69 Suburban as I went with an 'aftermarket' setup. I stash everything I take off, so if anyone needs any of these small parts, PM me.

(If you're wondering what I consider 'aftermarket', I got a floor mount unit from an early Honda Civic hatchback.)

My 72 SWB has one on each side. I believe it to be correct.

Thanks for all the input, I think I had two a long time ago when the parking break worked before a trip to the Tranny shop for a new fly wheel. I think they might have removed one and didn't put it back.
