Re: Accuair VU4
You can't. The only way is to reduce the line down to 3/8".

Re: Accuair VU4
....but what you can do is take full advantage of both intake ports to the VU4. I am using 1/2" line on the supply side of the system (comp and tanks) and feeding both the supply ports to the valve. Yes i have them reduced from 1/2" to 3/8" just as it enters the valve block. Then i am running 3/8" plastic lines to the bags.
Using both ports increases the air supply and will make it quick on the way up. almost too quick for the computer to read the sensors and shut off the valve. I think having 1/2" lines all around would be way too quick. |

Re: Accuair VU4
3/8's is the way to go if your using the accuair e level.. tried and tested to be most efficient with 3/8's...plus 1/2 is fast ive had that size air line and reduced to 3/8 so it was a little more user friendly, imho

I agree ^^^^ 1/2" line is fast, and you will end up slowing it down anyways, especially on the exhaust side.

Re: Accuair VU4
is there any disadvantages to using one of those manifolds? (instead of separate valves) like if one valve goes bad do you have to replace the whole big manifold?

Re: Accuair VU4
The manifolds are very good and reliable, but should you have a problem, it can be rebuilt through AccuAir. You can also dis-assemble yourself to clean the valves if ones seems to be dirty and not sealing all the way. I am sure this voids warranty, but if within warranty, I am sure AccuAir will take care of it.

Re: Accuair VU4
I read that it is Lifetime warranty, but does have a stipulation concerning "proper" installation. I am sure if you use as intended, they will stand behind their product. I am sure taking it apart will void that warranty.
