Color question

I bought a dash pad the other day and didn't notice till I got it home that it is a different color blue than my cab interior.
I looked online at several places and it seems that everyone has the same color of blue(bright blue). Does no one sell different shades of blue, like light/dark blue? My option sheet lists White/Dk. Blue/Wht Option# 148210 as the truck color. The inside of the cab is definately a darker blue than the bright blue pad. I guess I'll just live with it if there are no other options other than finding an original dash pad(which is unlikely I'd guess).
Just wondering if ya'll have run into similar situations?
OR...quit yer *****in' and install it!!!!!

i've seen a few of the blue interiors that had a black dash pad. you might want to go that route, if you can't find a dark blue one

nightmare,
I will keep that in mind. What I may do is install the dash I have and give it time. THe dash was only $65, so I could change my mind and go with black down the road, if this one bothers me too much. I just thought that parts are SOOO available for our trucks, it suprised me there wasn't a little more variety with respect to colors.

My 71 has a medium blue interior and I was looking at going with the black dash pad rather than the bright blue, who knows maybe even the black door panels also.
I have seen original trucks with the darker color of the blue dash pad.
I completely understand why the vendors supply the colors that sell the most.

Try and find the gold dash pad on a vendors list?

This is a good point and would like to see what other colors have become unavailable and what folkes have used.

Have fun
