Swap meet

Hey Keenee, havn't seen you on here before. I live in Wheeling, used to date a girl from Canonsburg but that was back in '76 or so. She used to live over by the old Westinghouse plant. Any info on a swap meet in Washington would be appreciated.

Washungton PA, or little washington as it is called in this area(I guess so people don't confuse it with DC) is at the intersection of interstates 70 and 79 in southwestern PA. this is a first time swap so I don't know what type of turnout to expect.
From I-70 take I-79N to the first exit and follow signs to washington county fairgrounds
from I-79S take the medowlands exit and follow signs to washington county fairgrounds
I would give exit #s but they changed all the #s and i don't know them.
admission is $4
vender setup on fri nite
car corrall
......
that is what I know so far Ken

I hadn't heard about the swap meet. Who is doing it? Will it be all '67-'72 truck stuff? or is it a GM meet? or a car meet (general)?

Does this have anything to do with the Sultan's meet/cruise?

By the way, what part of Canonsburg do you live in keene? I live on the other side of Muse (toward Cecil).

Hey plunkinberry I live on west mcmurray road towards donaldsons crossroads.
I don't know who is holding the swap, and as far as I know it is general auto parts
First I saw of it was at bull international there was a sign in the window, but that was in march and i did not read it to well.

from what I read in the paper the fair board is running the meet. they thought they would give it a try since the rib cookoff was moved to the 4th of july. they say that they hope for 60 venders, not too many imo. Hope it is not a bust. they mentioned car, truck, bike and tractor parts.
