Radiator
I need a new radiator for my Blazer. Right now I have a 3 core and I would like to move up to a 4 core. Where is the best place/price? Radiator.com quoted me $169 and Radiatorplus.com quoted $155. US Radiator sent me a quote of $293.00 for a Standard 4row, $361.00 for a 4row hi efficiency, $392.50 for a 4row optima, & $452.50 for a tripleflow.
What is the difference? Both the first two offer lifetime warranty.

First off, spend some time on their websites and put in different years between 67-72 and manual and automatic. I've been told you will find that there are different prices for different setups but the radiators are all the same. The one I bought for my truck was supposed to be for like a 70 big block truck (4 core) manual tranny and the radiator actually has the auto tranny cooler holes in the radiator. I ended up buying mine local and paid about $40 bucks more than the online price but since I'm doing a swap and things might change, I wanted to be local in case I needed to return it. My price from a local parts store, not an Autozone or Pep Boys, was right at $200.00.

The 3 and 4 core were priced the same at $169 here. The 4 core will need bigger upper and lower supports than the 3 core has.

Yukon - Radiator.com has changed their web site. Now it is like you are "talking" to someone and they are looking up the info. When it got difficult, they asked for my phone number & then a real person called. He quoted $149 for the 3 core & $169 for the 4 with $9 shipping.
pierce, where did you get that price? I know I'll need the 4 core brackets, but that shouldn't be a problem. I can make a quick run to PickupsNW and get a new set & pads.

Not a bad price. Another boardmember bought from them about 4 or 5 months ago and he said he was very pleased with the quality of the radiator and it got to him quick.

re: radiator
Got a 4 core for mine from Auto Radiator Outlet 1-800-252-0333. Had an online site but forgot it. Bought it in March, has the correct in and outs. Satified with it. Price was $135 plus $9 shipping. Came 2 days after I ordered.
