Late Model Wheels on a 70 LWB - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have the chance to get a very nice set of the 17x7.5 OE Denali Wheels for a very reasonable trade. They are the same bolt pattern as my truck, but I know the center hole is smaller. A local machine shop said it was no problem to bore out to work on my truck. I was planning on throwing some 17's on with some 255/60/17 tires, so when this guy offered to trade me his wheels I almost said yes immediately. But I wondered if anyone else had done this and if so, if there were any issues with getting the wheels balanced or unusual wear on the tires?
