Thanks Landon. I'm looking for another wood floor bed. I'm not really interested in swapping another steel floor to wood.

Please God don't make that bed into a trailer!!!! Trailers are then end of the line for many a good beds throughout the country! Get an S-10 or Nissan bed, please don't ruin a rare bed like that!!! hehehe. I'd take the bed if it weren't so far away....nuts.

VTKidder, I don't know how you could say that making a trailer would be the end of the beds life? I have a long bed trailer that is in good shape. It has some dents, and some rought spots, but the bed floor is Line-x ed and I put a cover on it and I keep all my camping stuff in it. I use it every summer, so how is it the end of the line? Also I had planed on building one to match my short bed 4x4. But could use some money for powdercoating, so that is why I am trying to sell one of the beds I have.

I realize that some people use the beds for trailers to haul trash and other things, but as far as the bed being made into a trailer, being the end of the bed, I feel is wrong. Granted in some cases it is true.

I can ship the bed to you if you want it. but you pay shipping.

One of our trucks looks cool with a nice matching trailer. Sounds like a great idea.

I'm going camping this weekend and I will get some pics of our primered beauties.

The bed is still for sale. I know someone out there needs one or wants one.

I see where you're coming from loud and clear...It's rough though for a guy from the Northeast to see a bed turned into a trailer when it took me almost a year to find a good condition bed to replace mine that was extremely rusted out; granted, that's before the internet and this message board helps stuff like that out greatly. Parts are VERY VERY rare up here, and when they aren't on running trucks, or out in a pasture rotting to pieces, it's just sad. I suppose in CA and many other areas of the country where roads aren't salted during the winter, parts are plentiful and in good shape. We just don't have that luxury in the northeast....that's all I was saying.

VTKidder, some of us use the beds, we save. :p This bed in the pic is only for camping. It has a line-x bed and rails, bed cover, frame was painted, and it is waiting for paint. So I am sorry that you think I should use a s-10 bed for a trailer. but it would not look as good rolling down the road. I understand also where you are coming from. Landon

That does look sharp being towed. Just wish I could come across parts easier I suppose. Salt on the roads in the winter really stinks.
