Looking good! I like that dark red color on the engine.

Re: 71 lq4

The frame was sand blasted. Then a coat of zink oxide was baked on, then powder coated a house silver. The Motor should have been more copper in color, not super happy with it. (A local PPG dealer gave me the codes for their "copperhead" paint. My engine builder also has a paint shop so he mixed and painted the motor. not sure what to do now. Thinking I could go alittle more copper, and not notice with the motor tucked in the engine bay.

Re: 71 lq4

Thank-You I'm running a set of sanderson silver ceramic coated blockhugger headers. I think some long tubes would have been better, but I bought the dissasembled 6.0, headers, and a new Howell Ind plug and play wire harness (with ecm), from a co-worker.
The headers look great with my silver frame, and fit nice with the CPP tubulare engine perches.

I will be running "block huggers" , with my swap (dont think it will hurt you that much in power). Mine is running a Gen I bell /trans, & needs the clearance for the bell crank & linkage You have a lot of nice pcs going there....she will be sweet crazyL

Re: 71 lq4

Thanks. I'm running a 700r4 (with all but one bolt) I hade it built with a shift kit, heavy duty sink gears, and a 2000rpm stall. The crank didn't need the spacer although I made one, and the flywheel needed the holes opened alittle. I'm a Tool and Die Maker so that helps.
