Re: Extended cab at a local show

That's my dream pickup right there. It looks so natural to have a crew cab, wonder why they didn't make them like that from the factory. Guess there wasn't much of a market for it back then.

Re: Extended cab at a local show

Looks like a nicely done crew cab (not extended cab) done right, most likely using a Suburban donor.

Re: Extended cab at a local show

And they even dropped the roofline down like a pickup. Very cool

It's got a solid front axle and springs, so probably the original frame stretched out?

I guess it was hauled there, no glass or seats. Maybe next you see it, it will be done!

Re: Extended cab at a local show

Killer truck, .. just wondering why there are no door handles on the back, or side markers? Am I missing something?

.. No interior ..

I guess it's unfinished (?) But still, awesome truck.

WOW, that's a nice one! Definitely an 8.1 under the hood, gonna be a lot of fun to drive that one. If I ever acquire body work skills or money to pay someone else to do it, I would love to have a nice crew cab like that!

Re: Extended cab at a local show

Love the airbrushed trim-- I have never seen that before and it looks great! I love how clean it is. And detailing it would be so easy-- no masking around trim, and it always looks perfect! Hopefully he never gets a paint chip in there though.

How did they get the wood bed to look so real?

Re: Extended cab at a local show

That trim doesn't look very real. It all lines up perfectly! I like how they painted it to look like the side markers aren't installed...OK,I see the looks. I'm shuttin' up and going over here now. . .
