14BFF Disc Brake conversion HELP

The conversion kits from ORD and DIY say to use 73-87 calipers and rotors from the front with thier kits.

Question: I have a 91 burb (2 wd). Is it safe to assume the rotors/calipers are the same as the 73-87 trucks. Any difference between a-arm and solid axle as far as the calipers/rotors?

Thanks

Re: 14BFF Disc Brake conversion HELP

that kit is designed for a 4x4 rotor. i can not say for sure if a 2wd rotor is usable, but arent they hub/rotor assemblies?

calipers i do know are the same. the only difference in 1/2 and 3/4 ton calipers is the metric or standard threads. your 91 is metric.

Ya, after I thought about it, I'm thinking the rotor would be integral with the hub on a 2wd. I'll grab the calipers.

Thanks
