Ford 9.75 in K10????
Anyone heard or though about swapping in a 9.75 from a newer F150? They are supposed to be pretty close to a dana 60 rear. I have broke 2 10 bolts in my 86 k10 and I am currently have a 3:73 front and a 3:08 rear end. I would just swap it over to a 14bolt but I love my factory rally wheels and don't want to part with them. I am getting ready to pull the truck apart and do a frame off and put a 5.3 or a 6.0 in it so I wanna upgrade the rear end while I am at it.

I don't know of anyone doing this. I think if it was me I'd look for the '88+ light 2500 semi-floating 14-bolt. Those are 9.5" and 6-lug already.

And it should be fairly easy to find one too.

They make hubs for a 14 bolt ff that is six lug. May be cheaper to go with the semi float instead.

Google. It. I m on this kindle fire and haven't firgured out how to copy and paste. I think off road design has the stuff. But like I said it may be cheaper to get the semi float six lug axle. I got a 14 bolt with 3.73 gears if you need one JKADE.

Re: Ford 9.75 in K10????
4wd factory has them but they cost 399.99 for the hubs. May be too high. Compared to finding a semi float.
