Replacing water pump. Any reason to replace with the Heavy Duty Water pump?

Just curious. Not really sure what is meant by heavy here either. Just a higher flow or just a more robust housing? Just dealing with a stock original 350. Any thoughts appreciated. I currently have a gates standard duty pump on hand. Just curious if i should rethink and go with the other. Thanks guys for the input.

Gm spent thousands back in the day on reasearch and development on a simple eater pump. If it wasnt good enough they would have run higher flowing ones.
