Lowering Springs
Hey guys I was wondering if someone could measure the length of their rear lowering springs with the trucks weight on them. Ive also read somewhere that some guys are using jeep springs to lower their trucks. What year make and model jeep? Main thing I'm after is spring height on lowering springs though. Thanks for any help!

Wish I could answer this for you,but I cannot.
if you use the search there is lots of info on the jeep springs. from what I read most people that tryed them dont like'm but you really wont know till you try it yourself.

Measure height won't tell you much.
There are too many different spring rates and coil wire diameters between the different brands of drop coil springs. Jeep springs have no load carrying capacity. Maybe look thru some of the build threads to find a ride height you like. I like using ECE drop springs for these trucks. www.earlyclassic.com.

jeep springs suck for a truck way to weak you throw a spare tire in the bed and its on bumpstops
they suck dont bother witht hem use blocks or lowering springs

dont waste time or money on jeep springs. i speak from personal experience. buy the correct lowering springs from a vendor.

Thanks guys. If anyone has a certain brand lowering coil and could give me the measurements that would be great. Since I'm putting coils under the back of a 93 they don't make them. This is going to be a custom rear suspension. I'll take your word for it and not go the jeep spring route. Thanks for the info and anymore that you might have!
