3 Lines on Power Steering Pump?

Hey guys, I am currently upgrading to power steering on my 66 long step, and I have everything in (pics and write up to come soon on my build thread), but I am confused about what to do with the lines. I have one port for high pressure coming out of the back of the pump, and 2 low pressure nipples also. The pump and brackets came with my engine, a 350 one piece rear main, not sure of the year. Can I just plug one of these?

Here's a pic of the pump that I'm dealing with:

That spare return port is used for a power steering cooling line or a return line from a hydro booster. Yes you can cap it off.

Thanks 66farmer! That's what I suspected, but good to have a confirmation.

One last question - Anyone know which of the 2 low pressure nipples I can just cap off?

Attaching a picture for ease of viewing.

Either one will do.
Both go into the reservoir.

I agree, they are both return lines, so plug which ever one does not fit your configuration. Typically the one on the side is the return from the hydroboost.

Re: 3 Lines on Power Steering Pump?

Thanks for the replies, all! I'll take a look tomorrow and plug one off. I should have power steering as soon as I can get some time with a welder!
