more wheel stuff

so i want to order some 15 inch rally rims so i can get this chassis on the ground.thinkin 15x8 rear(comes 4"bs,-12 mm offset)for the fronts i'm a little confused,i have an ec 2 1/2" drop spindle and disc brakes.i know this pushes the wheels out 3/4".i'm wondering if a 15x7 rim would line up better(comes 4" bs,0.00mm offset)any thoughts would be appreciated!66 short fleet 4/6 ec drop

Re: more wheel stuff

I had a set of 15X7 rallys up front with a 4 inch drop with drop spindles and they worked just fine. I don't recall what the offset was but it seems they were 4 inches. I can find out if you want. It probably also depends on the tire width that you want I. Mine were 275/60.

Re: more wheel stuff

I'm running 15X8 on the rear with a 235/75/15, and 15x7 on the front with 215/65/15 on my fleetside. Wheel Vintique smoothies with 4.5 backspace on the rear, 3.5 on the front. I'm currently running drums up front but that setup will work perfect with disk brakes also.

My stepside is running 15x6 rallies all around with 265/75/15 on the rear, 215/75/15 on the front with disk brakes.

Re: more wheel stuff

I'm running 15x8 , with 4 inch backspacing all the way around ... But as a side note .. I still have the stock drum brakes all the way around ..
235-60R-15 on front , 275-60R-15 on rear ..I think you would be on the right track going with 15x7 ft / 15x8 rear , since like you said with the disc brakes it pushes it out ... I'm still thinking about lowering 2 more inches on rear , but regardless I will have clearence all the way around .. Good Luck !!!
