shine and some light...

I stopped in the parts store today and picked up some lug nuts, and interior light, and some Meguiars ultimate compound. So I get home put the courtesy lamp in and then go to the dome light. The light was stuck so I took the whole thing off the roof. Come to find out someone cut the wires to the light. I was really ready to finally have some light.I couldn't see the wires up there so its going to be awhile before that gets fixed. So after that I washed the truck and put the Meguiars on. I got to say it was really worth every dime. It looks so much better. Then I waxed it and was done for the night. Ill try to get pics of the much better looking truck

Should be a white/orange wire running up the B-pillar on the driver side for the dome light. Hope fully the cut it and just left if in the roof so you can reconnect it. Where did you put the courtesy lamp? Stock location next to glove box bottom of dash?

Re: shine and some light...

The courtesy lamp is in the stock position. I hope they did leave the wires up there or else I see alot of frustration in the future.

Re: shine and some light...

Its not to bad to fish the wires back up there. I used a long wire hanger on my wife's truck. Now finding the other end my be the hard part. Under the door sills possibly.
