Replacement cab mounts

I just received new rubber cab mounts, and I checked in the bag and I didnt see any lube or anything.
Is any of this required for the sleeves on the mounts? Or was that only for poly mounts?

Re: Replacement cab mounts

That lube is only for poly mounts, don't lube rubber mounts.

Re: Replacement cab mounts

Cool, thank you for the reply. I was just thinking of the sleeve that go in the rubber mounts. Didnt think they needed to be lubed for squeaking purposes, just didnt know if it would make things easier

Re: Replacement cab mounts

They will go in the rubber easier for you if you scrub all the years of crud off of them. I just did my mounts, one side took 2 hours and the other side just one. It was one of the easiest jobs so far on my restore.
