My '67 with a '78 350 motor and TH350 trans and 3 core radiator (currently looking for a exact replacement for that; possibly a '69 model since it comes with a 350 and TH350). Anyways, my trans cooling lines had been cut at certain areas where a hose is connected to make it work. I would like to know where everyone had gotten their trans. cooling lines from. I checked NAPA, Autozone, Oreillys, but no luck. I did find one at Summit. A SS version for a 1969 350 motor/ TH350 trans...but for $50. Is the stock trans. cooling lines made of regular steel or SS?? Here's the link:

Stock were steel. I got mine from Inline Tube.

You can get brake lines, to use for trans lines, at any parts store and bend to fit. You can get these in straight sections. Just make sure to get the size with the correct fittings. Use a tubing bender and be sure not to kink the tubing so that it doesnt obstruct the fluid flow.

I got my brake lines, trans lines, and vacuum line for modulator all from inline tube and they all fit great.

Before I knew about Inline Tube... I got my steel trans cooling lines for my '72 GMC from LMC. Fit was dang near perfect with only a slight tweaking of the upper line to line up with the radiator to start the threads. Maybe a 1/2" bend.

I got my SS brake lines from Inline Tube. They fit great too.

Tubing bender, double flaring tool, Brake lines in appropriate sizes, and a little patience. No waiting for shipping, and you then have two more cool tools for later use, and the pride and bragging rights of "I made them thar lines".

If you are trying to save some money, you can get them off of a later model truck. They will work with a little bit of tweaking.
