Can I just deflate my tires and then pull them off the rims, to dismount them? Could it actually be that easy?

No, you will need to break the bead on them and that can sometimes be a pain if you are using old tire tools and the tire has been on the rim a while.

Um,

Unless you wanna die i would reccomend letting the air out first.

And it can be done by hand but it's really hard it's easyer to pay a tire shop to dismount them for ya.

that would be a no so smart idea.

it could be done but breaking the beads with hand tools would probly be an all day project, lol. go around to a few shops, good chance you'll find one that will do it for free. to do all 4 of them thats about 5 min worth of work with a rim clamp machine

I needed some rims for making a stand for a furnace (We use garbage for stuff you would never imagine...) and to get the tires off, we put a 2x6 on the tire then drove the 3/4 ton up the board, it broke the bead very nicely without wrecking the rim, it was just a matter of prying the tire off after that, took about 10 minutes. The tire had been on that wheel for close to 15 years...

sounds like trying to break the bead on a duece tire, i agree take it to a shop.. an yes i am biased.. dont hurt my tires!
