My 1969 chevy project

Hey guys, im new to this website. My dad and I are working on my truck for my birthday coming up here ina couple months. I thought i would make an account and show everyone my truck! It is a 1969 chevy cst 20 396. It has a 402 in it right now. Factory tach truck. We are working on a small budget due to the economy... but it is gunna be sweet!

Here is the link to my album:

I would just put the pics on here, but there is a bunch of them and it would take a while.

Welcome !

Real nice. I like the way you kept the original saddle color. Mine could use some freshening like that ! What paint did you use ?

I like it. I really like the blacked out grill.

Just not sure what's going on with the half blacked out end gate

Re: My 1969 chevy project

That's only temporary. When I had my role pan welded on, I slapped some primer over the welds. I didn't like how it looked so I went with the rear body line and blacked it out for now. It's all going back to the original saddle gold soon.

Re: My 1969 chevy project

And this is how it sits now. I threw the 72 bumper back on for now as well. I have yet to find a chrome 67-70 front bumper for it.

Thanks! And I have, I have been driving it for 2 years until I got my 69 vw squareback to take its place as a daily driver. I plan on a short bed conversion soon
