What do you guys use to the vent glass back in the frame? Mine had a plexiglass replacement and I got a replacement from the boneyard today and want to do it once and be done with it.

Thanks in advance, Kevin

Re: Vent glass glue?

Is it the same glue for windshields, I figured there is a number of things including solicone I could use. How did the solicone hold up? I figure that would be easy clean up. Did you use the original rubber seal with the solicone?

I'm guessing from what I see the factory just used the rubber seal and crimped if in place.

Sorry so many questions, just like to gather info.

Re: Vent glass glue?

The factory used a cork/felt type of material to hold the vent glass. I use clear silicon and trim the excess after curing. peace
