orginal control bushings
what is the best way to install the front control arm bushings. i was told to screw one bushing all the way,then the shaft and then the other bushing.is this the right way or is there another way.

I put the cross shaft in the vice, placed the arm over the ends and center the shaft to the arms. Then I screwed the end bushings on each side until they just start to thread into the arms. Then I equally go back and forth between the two, tightening them equally. I snug them up to the point that it just puts a little drag when I move the arm up and down. If too tight, you will feel the arm bind. Back off the ends just slightly. You don't want the arms to just flop around.
At least that's how I did the last two sets. Sure others have ideas too.
