Re: need brake help plez!!!!!
you didn't mention bleeding the new mc (which can be done before or after the install, but must be done).
Did you do that as part of the process? |

Re: need brake help plez!!!!!
i see loads of guys who bleed brakes without ever reading a factory service manual which has great step by step instructions on how to do it correctly especially what to do with the prop valve
guess that $25 is too step a price to get it right

Re: need brake help plez!!!!!
What was the original reason for changing the Master cylinder?
What kind of problem were you experiencing before? |

Re: need brake help plez!!!!!
Brake went out all together with no pedal at all now with new one I can pump it and get a pretty good pedal but if I just hit pedal without pumping it gose all the way to floor this has got me I've never had problems bleeding brake or changing MC before

Re: need brake help plez!!!!!
in my opinion it sounds like 1 of 2 things
* there is still sir in system some where, * or the master cylinder has an internal leak. |

Re: need brake help plez!!!!!
May still be air in the system. Only takes a very small bubble. How are the brake hoses? New? Old?

Re: need brake help plez!!!!!
Getting any air out of lines as you bleed them, or getting fluid with no air?

Re: need brake help plez!!!!!
I'm guessing no front discs so no proportioning valve to bleed -- correct?

Re: need brake help plez!!!!!
I'm drawing a blank unless your new MC is bad as suggested above. No idea how often new ones are bad out of the box....

Re: need brake help plez!!!!!
Also in the same boat... Maybe the drums has a big gap from the pads and adjusting the star adjuster may need to be done?
