Re: Six pack truck

3 2's?? This ain't no dodge! Anybody ever seen one? Or got any info? Looks like a van, chopped short (the original floor goes under the box) with a patch on the back. I'm a 67-72 guy and that's what the door panels look like. Small block with emissions bs.

Re: Six pack truck

It would probably be a little more helpful if you could get some more pictures of it. Looks like it was a custom build. I'm also willing to bet the smashed windshield was custom too.

Re: Six pack truck

Well, I believe Chevy made a 3 duece set up as well referred to as a tri-power, not to mention the Poncho version so not just a Dodge thing. Although they did do it best, I have a couple I could put in a truck.

Re: Six pack truck

That van is a new one on me,Ford offered a tri power too but dodge was the only one that called it a six pack.

Re: Six pack truck

The "six pack" was just a joke guys! It's a small block with a quadra! Just curios if anyone knows about the back part. Where was it made?

Re: Six pack truck

Argue if you want, look at the results, look at the CFMs, look at the flow of the intake and even the heads. You can argue the fit and finish quality of a Chrysler but not performance, straight line that is, no turning allowed.

The only GM tri-power to compete to my knowledge was the L-89 aluminum 427, but I don/t know everything. AND I might be bias.

Re: Six pack truck

Pontiac tripowers were neat cars, but unfortunately the tripower went away before pontiac finally designed a half way decent cylinder head. The mopar and chevy versions however had a better foundation to start with, more cubes, better heads etc..so they had much more potential than pontiac tripowers ever did.

Not knocking pontiac, I own a couple of them, just my experiences.

Texasbigblock....what do you want with a van like that anyway? Are you looking to drive around neighborhoods with music playing offering frosty cold ones?

Re: Six pack truck

Anyway about the 6 pack truck, that is cool! I wonder if those cans are fiberglass and that's how they light them up? I bet a guy could make some out of some water tanks if you can find some that size.

That's a van for sure, cutaway/box conversions were common. They made that body style of van all the way up til 96 and they all got the 67-72 style door panels, even had the old style door handles inside.
