Smile Rear Bumper

Alright fella's im wanting to take this big bumper off an replace it with a stock 72' bumper. Please post up some photos of the standard year bumper, mounting brackets, and complete installed pics. Much appreciated thanks

Here's what I currently have, yes you can put the spare tire inside of the bumper for storage!

there was no stock rear bumper on a 72 chevy truck they were all optional

Its handy but im wanting to get rid of all the dang weight. just wanting to know if anyone could post up some pictures of a bumper like this but with some under the bed photos to show how the mounting brackets bolt up to the frame? also receiver hitch mounts would be nice aswell thanks guys!

you might want to consider getting some crossmember/braces from a truck at the wrecking yard, if im not mistaken theres supposed to be one on the end of the frame and second one is butchered so the tire will fit in there, that bumper could be holding your frame together id check into that a little more before you take it off
