Cool Rear Disc brake conversion

Looking to find Emergency brake cables to tie into my new rear Wilwood Disc brake conversion. I have'nt found who would sell them.
Would I be looking at camaros of that year or another chevy that had rear Disc brakes? Any help would be great. Thanks

Re: Rear Disc brake conversion

1st off, welcome to the board.

i'm sure your aware but i could be wrong, but wilwood sales this cable for their brakes. if your trying to save a little money, then sorry i don't know what you can steal that cable off of. i'm pretty sure you can find a cable from some other vehicle that would work just fine, it's not like it's the most complicated set up.
i just installed the same wilwood conversion on my truck. i'm going to go ahead and buy the wilwood cable for it ($150) i figured if i paid as much as i did for the brake kit, then what's another $150? i bought mine through a board vendor, scotts hot rods. i talked to justin.
summit sales these wilwood cables also, but i'm going to get mine from scottshotrods also because i want to know for sure it's for a c10.

Welcome to the forum. If you are in fact looking for Wilwood parts, talk to our Forum Vendors. We have several Wilwood dealers here in our Suspension and Vendor Marketplace.

We are an authorized Wilwood dealer and can help you out with the e-brake cable situation. There are other options as well, that can save you some $$$. You may not need the whole cable, but just the new clevis to match up.

Slimneverdies,
As for the Brembo brakes. We do not sell them, but can get Wilwood of course, and Baer. I would suggest one of these two options, as they are great systems and might be a little more affordable than Brembo. Brembo tends to have a large caliper offset also, which at times, can be a little troublesome when looking for wheels, if not going the custom built route.

Give me a call, PM or email, and I would be more than happy to go over your options.

Re: Rear Disc brake conversion

Cool Travis, I'll call when I get off. The only reason I want Brembo brakes is because I have the entire setup for the rear complete and wanted to match the front with the rear
