Note the SPID for the 72 K20 Cheyenne lists front tow hooks. I thought these were only available on trucks with painted bumpers and the Cheyenne would have a chrome bumper.

Although the dealer ordering specs state the tow hooks to be only available w/painted bumper,something changed along the way after that was printed cuz I've seen and owned many original trucks/Blazers with tow hooks and chrome bumper. Possibly more w/chrome than not. I have read that in the '71 book,never saw other year books. Maybe by '72 it changed because most plain Jane trucks didn't spring for the hooks and the Fancy Frans that went for more options had become more prevalent.
