Re: baggin a 64 long bed
Looking good! If I had fab skills like that I wouldn't have to buy my suspension

Re: baggin a 64 long bed
Welcome!
Wow, lookin' pretty good. it looks like a few hours worth of sweat & banged-up knuckles has went in to that project so far. Couldn't you find something more difficult to rework on the truck for starters? Ha-Ha! Gotta hand it to you, when you get this part all sorted out, the rest should be pretty smooth sailing. |

Re: baggin a 64 long bed
Wow sweet work man. Did you fab all the trailing arm brackets and rear notch yourself or did you order a couple weld on prefabbed things. Awsome work your motivating me to get off my butt and work on mine. Hope to see your truck cruising around san diego soon. I'm embarrassed I've had mine for almost a year and all got done are a 91 burb crossmember swap and made some upper bag plates I still need to cup my lowers to get the front back together makes me sad seeing it on stands. Good luck bro bad ass work I needed the motivation.

Re: baggin a 64 long bed
ok i did a **** load of welding yesterday even though it was 100 degrees out side. so my hole rear set up is basically done. i even threw some bags in there real quick to see how it all worked. seems to work well.
and i had to do the can crushing. |

Re: baggin a 64 long bed
Nice! Its hard to tell from the pics, is the upper bag bracket just a flat plate or is it gussetted?
