Need help Identifying these axles

These supposedly came off an 85 3/4ton 4x4. Not sure what they are or what gears they are either. The rear axle seemed to have 14 bolts on the id cover and the front has 10 I believe and has a GM10 stamp, which I think is what they just call a 10bolt. Here are some pics...front axle first!

Re: Need help Identifying these axles

Front is a corporate 10 bolt. The rear is a 14 bolt semi floater 9.5 inch ring gear.

Front could be a 28 spline or a 30 spline. 30 spline is 1989-1991

Front is the same axle used in the half tons except on a 3/4 ton they added 8 lug outers.

the 14 bolts, a lot of them came with G-80 Lockers.

I would make a guess that it has 4:10 gears. Only a guess but a pretty popular ratio for those axles.

Would this set be worth buying? He wants 500 for the set.

And what does the semi floater term mean?

That is about right. When I sell them up here, I generally take $50 for the 14bolt SF and 50-100 for a 10bolt front.
