Mysterious bracket on throttle pedal
Hey all, there's a bracket (which nothing's connected to) mounted to the throttle pedal.
(First picture is the bracket-second is where it bolts on to) Any idea what it's for? Thanks!

Re: Mysterious bracket on throttle pedal
Can you post a pic of it attached? It would be easier to determine what it may be used for if no one else has seen one before.

Sure...not on right now but it looks challenging to get on I'll get a pic once it's back on. Later today? Tomorrow?

Possibly some sort of after market cruise control set up?

Re: Mysterious bracket on throttle pedal
All I can tell you is that I just took apart my truck, every nut and bolt, and didn't come across that piece on my '70 3/4 ton. Perhaps aftermarket cruise?

Re: Mysterious bracket on throttle pedal
I was thinking it was attached to the pedal lever itself. It's attached to the hold down bracet.

Re: Mysterious bracket on throttle pedal
Why would a TH400 kick down switch mount be in a K/20?

Re: Mysterious bracket on throttle pedal
It can't be original to the K/20... someone must have added it. They didn't do a th400 4x4 version until like 76ish?
