One heck of a gift!
Recently lost a great friend of 40 yrs to a long fight with cancer. Over the years we went back and forth about who had the best truck, talk about trips taken, loads we hauled, etc. My buddy willed me his truck! It's had a couple of re-paints and two engines during it's life. Runs perfect! In his honor, I'm leaving it just the way it is. I did have his obituary laminated and put it in place of the build sheet behind the seat springs.

Re: One heck of a gift!
Obviously he was a true friend. I'm sure you'd crush both of them to get him back and then some. I'd bet he did it for you and himself as he knew the truck would be well taken care of. I'm sorry for you loss.

Re: One heck of a gift!
He must have respected you a great deal and left knowing his truck would be in good hands.
( & nice pic of the two buddies together )

Re: One heck of a gift!
Thanks for all the kind words. Al was just a genuine good ol' boy. With the '70 in the driveway, I'll be reminded daily of what a good friend he was.
