rear end length?

i got a 10 bolt under my 67 now. not sure if it is oe or not. i want to put 20x15 wheels on the back. so i will buy a moser rear end or the like. anyone know what length to specify for the rear end and the necessary back spacing for the wheels? thanks for any help, kenny.

If you want it to really look cool I would get the least back space offered in the wheels you want. I like the look of allot of hoop on the outside of the wheel. I'll post a pic of the 15x12 wheels on my son's truck. If you are gonna order a rearend then you can get it any width you want. A friend of mine ordered a rear from quick performance off of Ebay and it was nice and reasonable. Ups was a little rough on the housing in transit and quick sent him a replacement without a hassle.

6.44 1/8 @ 104.13
10.39 1/4 @ 125.83

Nitrous Times:
5.785 1/8 @ 118.65 with a 1.336 60ft
9.168 1/4 @ 142.58 with a 250 shot dead out of the hole!

You're going to have to get your tires and wheels first. Then place them inside your wheelwells where you want them and then measure the width the rear end needs to be. I believe Moser has an order sheet on their web site, that shows you what measurements and info they need.

that is a great idea. probably better than buying the rear end first and then buying the wheels.
