flip kit question for 4/6 drop???

ok i bought my kit for my 4/6 drop and the question i am wanting to know do i have to c- notch the frame or can i just cut the orginal bump stomp and put the smaller ones in when i go to do the flip? thanks guys

If you install flip bracket only, then just cut out the bumpstop, if you add drop shackles or remove leafs then yes c-notch it.

You need a BARE MINIMUM of 2in of travel between axle and frame. Once your kit is installed and if you have less than 2in....notch it.

Most flip kits I've seen only drop 5in

I have a 6/7 drop on mine and dont have to run a c-notch

These are DJM flip brackets and shock extenders. Recently some guys have been having problems with this brand, I installed 2 sets last year with no problems.

yeah i read up on that forum something to do with they should only be used for show not high performance. i think that i might have bought the wrong kit do a 4/6 drop
