I been toying with the same idea on this dual snorkel air cleaner myself. Same show got the idea in my head. Added to the long list of projects on the ongoing project.

Re: Custom Air Cleaner project
Started one out of foam and was going go back and cover it with fiberglass but lost enterest and throwed it away after it set in the corner for about a year after ! sold the truck it was intended for. Had a semi reversed T/A shaker kinda look to it. Was an odd shape but would have looked cool after paint and pinstripes, no pics, sorry.

Re: Custom Air Cleaner project
Yep, that's the one. Looks good. If I decide to go that route, they will be a little closer together and I will run some tubing to the front of the truck to get more air in.

Reno, were there holes in each snorkel that you have welded up? I like the look of the corvette air cleaner..like the short snorkels

Re: Custom Air Cleaner project
Brand new ...$200 Classic Industries.. straight from China or someplace over thar..
I've always liked the open element 14" chrome lid/black base like the ones on L78 396's in the late 60's. Maybe with a 4" tall diesel filter if you've got room.

Re: Custom Air Cleaner project
All you need is a sixties Olds Toranado air cleaner. If you haven't seen one yet they look just like the power-block project one.
